The launch of Serum Italia’s state-of-the-art whey drying tower

Exciting news on World Milk Day! We're happy to announce the launch of Serum Italia’s state-of-the-art whey drying tower in the north of Italy. The capacity will be 40,000mt of Food Grade product per year and the Sweet Whey Powder will be exclusively exported by Melkweg. By processing the high quality liquid whey locally, we are proud to contribute to better sustainability and reduce our environmental impact.
 
After months of hard work, we have signed our first sales contracts and will be operating at full capacity as of today. Our aim is to partner with global key players in the food industry, ensuring a stable supply of high-quality whey proteins for our customers.
 
This is a significant step for our group and we're grateful for the hard work of the dedicated teams of both Serum Italia and Melkweg who made it possible. We're confident that our new whey drying tower will enable us to meet the growing demand for whey proteins and contribute to the success of our customers.
